Luxor has an expanding portfolio of 177 rental units with a combined value of over £15 million and is one of the largest and active landlords in the North West of England. It has established itself a key player in the property industry and has ambitious growth plans for 2017/18.
Managing director Paul Nicholson is passionate about regeneration and providing affordable luxury homes. As a qualified solicitor, Paul spent a number of years at international commercial law firm Hill Dickinson specialising in property and finance.
Since acquiring his first property at the age of 23, Paul has expanded his portfolio from small buy-to-lets to large scale regeneration projects throughout the Liverpool city region.
Most recently Paul acquired the former Tyrers building in St Helens town centre. Once completed in autumn 2017, it will address the need for a new leisure and housing offering in the local area. The £1 million conversion will offer 15 new luxury apartments for rent and will introduce a prime retailer or leisure provider to the high street.
Paul believes St Helens has great potential to move forward and become a vibrant town centre which caters for the local community. With the right long term strategy, Paul believes it could kick-start a surge of investment, job opportunities and housing for the local area.
A long term goal for Paul is to target five main project sites in St Helens town centre, one of which is already in planning and the four other sites are currently in negotiations.
