The awards celebrate the role of St Helens Businesses, Social Enterprises and Schools investment in raising the profile of St Helens as a place to invest, live, learn, visit and work, via nurturing aspirations, pride, creating inspiration, job and wealth creation.
We recognise that all businesses and other organisations participate and contribute to St Helens economy and future opportunities. These business awards celebrate and tell their stories, far and wide, of their contribution to St Helens,
Linzi Prescott, whose late husband Steve was the driving force behind the creation of Pride of St Helens in 2012, said: ‘Since the inception of the Pride of St Helens in 2012, the awards have gone from strength to strength. This year, we are elated to join forces with Invest in St Helens, extending the Pride awards to cover two evenings. This allows us to celebrate the success of the fantastic businesses within our borough. The Community Awards, celebrating local heroes, will continue, sponsored by Solar Crown.”
Eamonn McManus, Chairman of St Helens RLFC and chair of the St Helens Economy Board, said: “We’re looking to recognise the contributions of businesses small and large; those that truly care about and motivate their employees; those that demonstrate a genuine commitment to growing the local economy, and those which have a proven record of breaking down social barriers to work in our communities. I look forward to welcoming entries from all corners of the borough.”
There is a category to suit ANY organisation of ANY size. It’s also free to enter and open to both St Helens ambassador members and non-ambassadors. Enter now www.investinsthelens.com/business-awards
The event could not take place without the valued support of our sponsors and we’d like to extend our thanks to them for their support.
This year’s awards will take place on Thursday 15 November at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
